Arts Education

I am a community college instructor of Art Appreciation and Humanities courses with six years previous experience in foreign language education. My interest in art education includes curriculum development that implements student-centered learning, object-based learning, and study abroad. Additionally, I am a Quality Matters online course reviewer with more than five years experience in designing and teaching online courses.

I am committed in my arts education career to strengthen students' critical thinking and communication skills through close-looking exercises. My curriculum engages these proficiencies while also tapping into free online tools that encourage digital literacy for students of all generations.
